El Matador - Menu Cover El Matador - Toledo, Ohio 1999 Photography, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop This menu was done for an Italian/Mexican restaurant. The idea of the two cultures together made a challenging project for a menu cover. The spiral pasta as mexican zig-zags were the only elements needed to hold the menu together. This is a truly unique design.
Equus Productions - Logo and Business Card Weiss Media - Eugene, Oregon 2000 Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop Equus Productions is a multimedia recording studio in Veneta (west of Eugene, OR). The image background resembles a microphone and contrasts the sleak curves of the horse head.

The original image was a photo taken by a friend of mine. The colors are classic, yet bright enough to give this designer a fresh look.
Dance for Peace - Logo and Promo Poster Jaxx - Eugene, Oregon 2006 Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop Every Wednesday I assisted in working the door at this event. All of the cover charge went to a local nonprofit that was active in ending the war in Iraq. The peace sign is made up of feet and arrows, indicating dancing instructions. The couple are from an old, odd record cover. I like how they happen to be looking at the logo.
Tarus Ball - Flier Tucker - Portland, Oregon 2006 Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop I designed this flier within 4 days, after the promoter called me in a panic. I wish I had more time to work on the art for this project, as the event was worthy of a cooler flier. All in all, I feel the illustration is strong. This piece is a great example of my abilities to deliver great art under insane deadlines.
Sara Jaffe - Yard Sign and Business Card Gray's Web Design - Yachats, Oregon 2006 Adobe Illustrator The client needed a logo including the designer's initials. I tried to position the "j" so it would redirect the viewer's eye back into the company info. The elements were designed around the fact that the majority of the advertising was to be done with yard signs, resulting in a clean message that could be interpeted quickly by a passing car.

We used his character in the fertilizer guide, advertisements and on the web site to present information. If all worms were this cute, fishing may become unpopular. This job uses 5 spot colors.

The actual cd represents the jewel case cover, his photograph set over a brick wall and illustrations of mazes. The mazes were used to reinforce the title of the album, Lost Without You.

Green Vacation Hub - Logo and Business Card Green Vacation Hub - Yachats, Oregon 2007 Adobe Illustrator I also did the graphics for this environmental company's web page. They act as a search tool for vacation rentals that operate with the environment in mind. Browsers search for rental units with allergy free cleaners, recycling bins, solar power and by other green catagories.

Down To Earth - Candle Package Design Down To Earth 2007 Illustration, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Streamline I like how the illustration of the bee came out on this package design. It was important to keep the bee friendly. I'm sure bee's don't smile, but this one does. It also is flying with a candle and goggles. The clouds here are similar to the clouds I made for the bat guano box. I intended to use clouds on each of the fertilizers illustration, in hidesight, I'm glad they weren't overused. This was printed in full process color.

Most housewares products have a maroon background, the cleaning products have cyan background colors. The sponge packaging is done in full, process color.

I expanded on the image, adding a doorway and other brick walls. I was hoping to suggest he was taking lost in a giant labyrinth.

The majority of text is on the cover, back and fold of this brochure. The inside folds out to a large map illustration.

I like the aquatic look of the dingbats in the corners. I did not take the photos, but I did recrop each image. This image is the front, back and fold designs.
